After you are married, you would simply apply for him as your spouse. It doesnt cost that much....maybe about 1500, and could take a while to be processed. When I sponsored my husband it only took 9 mths, but I know of another couple that took 2 years. He would have to have a criminal check, medical etc... if there any issues with those, that would be opening a whole new can of worms.
